Large plot of land in a stunning location, Kouremenos, Sitia

A little further north is the small brackish lake of Bibikos, which probably formerly formed a single entity with the Kalogeropotamos marsh, but was cut off due to human intervention.

The beach has fine brown sand, shallow waters and many tamarisk trees, while it is organized with umbrellas, showers. A characteristic of Kouremenos is the very frequent and strong wind. In fact, the wind here is consistently so strong that the place has become well-known among windsurfing and kite surfing enthusiasts internationally.
