Agia Marina is located 47 km southwest of Rethymno and 84 km southeast of Chania, in a quiet area between Frangokastello and Rodakino. It is located 2 km south of the picturesque village of Argoulé, to whose district it belongs. At the end of the beach, the stream that brings the waters of the Argoulé Gorges and the Perdikaris Gorge flows out.
The beach has sand and pebbles, while in several places there are small rocks, ideal for fishing. It is not organized, so make sure to have the necessary things with you, although in close proximity (3-5’ walk) there is the tavern of the neighboring beach of Peristere. Next to the beach there is the church of Agia Marina, which is surrounded by large carob trees.
To get to Agia Marina, you will have to follow the coastal dirt road from Peristeres which then continues to Lakkoi and Frangokastelo.
